OUR LOCAL FAMILIES ARE REALLY STRUGGLING TO MAKE ENDS MEET. LET'S JOIN HANDS AND GIVE THEM SOME RELIEF FROM THEIR TROUBLES
We are a charitable organisation helping to provide food & basic items to the local families in Manchester. We help families suffering from poverty in our very own city
WHAT IS UNITY COMMUNITY?
We are a 100% not for profit local community organisation, set up to provide basic necessities such as food to those who are struggling financially. The people we help include some who are waiting for a decision for being accepted by the local council for benefits or become eligible for Zakat foundation or other agencies to take up their cases.
As these legalities take a long time to come through, there are many people who are left with no money and little food for several months. We want to fill in these gaps by working closely with local agencies, social care workers, mosques, etc. We are a 100% non-profit charity project.
